Map Update

Friends and neighbors, I've entered ALL the cards I've received... for Alabama through Missouri. So if you haven't seen a pin for your locale, I probably haven't gotten to your state yet. Sorry. It's been nice out. (NB: Many cards were sent in without any return address, so I just use the postmark [if I can make it out]. For instance, there are three cards with St Louis, MO postmarks, but I don't know where they actually came from -- if you want your town represented, just let me know.)

I'm still working on it, never fear. And I've gotten some very helpful suggestions on archiving the cards, but I'm still listening if there are any other ideas. Just sayin'.

ST PATRICK'S DAY UPDATE: I've entered all the cards for Alabama through Tennessee. But Google Maps has this funny little feature where you can't see all the placemark pin thingies at once. I PROMISE they're there. I'll figure out a way for you all to see them all as soon as I'm done entering the locations.

The weather has been incrdedible and it seems that we are in for a few more days of it so make sure to enjoy! The cards aren't going anywhere! Hope that you are having fun doing this and that it hasn't become a burdensome task. Can't wait to hear what you come up with for storing!

You're really a marvel, Tia!

This is an amazing thing - this creation of community.

I can see why philosophers and theologians and novelists and playwrights have spent thousands of years trying to uncover the human heart.

After reading your map info, i just had to go and look...and there i was...Delair, NJ. Tia, you rock!!! I think that this is such a cool way to see where everything came from. I also think, Good for You not wanting to put it all in a box and put it away. I love scrapbooking, but also think the framing in a nice idea and the idea about taking the pics of each card is neat too, because then they all become tha same size...might be easier to do something with them all then...like small or large digtal college.

Hmmm, I believe my card getting delayed or lost but nothing at all from Maryland? I suspect some sort of snowmaggedon postal nightmare. There may be a bag full under that last big pile of dirty ice.

Fixed, bluejay! I cannot blame either the Post Office or any of the various snowpocalypses this February. Totally my fault. But check the map -- are you now there?
