While Jane sleeps, how about we just ooh and aah over those cheeks, that rosebud mouth for a little while?
Tom made the trip down today, where Awesome Nurse Kristy reported that basically everyone on the floor stopped by Jane's bed to oogle the adorableness. Can you blame them?
No news. She's doing great. Great blood gas, good oxygen levels (Kristy got her down to 28 or 29 -- hear that, Angela?), just good all around.
Now go on back and feast your eyes a little longer. That's all I wanted to do today.

ahhhhh.....
Precious, just beautifully, peacefully precious.
That's just a super sweet picture. I can't decide what I like best - the bunny, the cheeks, or the tuft of hair sticking up. I think it's the whole trifecta, really.
I had to come back for more eye candy!! She is too precious! I also had the thought that you are going to get to try and nurse her soon! I hope it goes well so that you can perhaps reduce the hours hooked to the machine.
Yup, that's right, Margot. Once Jane gets all stable and comfortable, she'll get to try to eat with her actual mouth. Like babies do! I have no idea when this will happen, but you KNOW the lactation consultant is going to be pushing for it ASAP.
Precious! Gorgeous! Wonderful!
I'm so glad to be back and to see your wonderful updates... many prayers were made for you all.
She is absolutely adorable!
