Quiet

No news, peeps. They've tweaked Jane's vent settings again, and our poor girl had to have an enema today and gets another tomorrow (all that morphine + not moving around much = well, you know what it equals), but other than that, not much to report. Oh, her eye exam was this morning. I missed it.

And... that's it. I'm trying to retrain myself to be patient, but I seem to have lost the knack somewhere in the last week. If anyone finds an unclaimed knack lying around, please send it my way.

Big visitor day tomorrow. I'll say no more. Practice some patience of your own!

Hmm. Here I was going to offer to give you some of my patience if that would help, but then you go telling me to be patient. How to balance, how to balance...

That's a beautiful picture, though.

Big visitor day? Does her first name start with Awesome?

I will have to wait to find out like everyone else.

Beautiful pictures go a long way toward keeping me patient!

I'm going to go look for a lost knack.

Hugs - have a good day today.

Whew I hated being out of town and having to search Tom's FB page to find the link...but alas I am home and can easily find you to check in....I am relieved with the newest news and the echo results and the pic of you two holding hands was precious and made me cry joyous tears for you reconnecting a bit with your sweet Janie. I know that finding patience at this point isnt going to be found so try and just be with the crazy squirrly feelings and let them pass like puffy white clouds that float through the sky. Know that Jane has as much fight as you have heart. Methadone huh what ever works to heal your girl...again...just embrace and let it go. Prayers for successful weans and enemas...why don't they just give her a bath I think she would enjoy it more and if I recall it usually accomplishes the same goal! hugs and loves to you all as you continue to process and march along a rocky path that is no where near any scary ledges!

Jane is such a fighter. I've never met her, and I can tell she is one strong little girl. And beautiful too. I can't tell you how much I am pulling for you guys. I get it, unfortunately. Try not to be too afraid of the methadone. It's not uncommon when a babe has been on narcotics long-term. And you and Tom hang in there as best you can. As always, if I can be of help/support, please let me know.
